Rebif 44mcg Injection contains the active substance Interferon beta-1a, which is classified as an immunomodulator. Interferons are natural proteins the body produces to fend off infections and diseases. The protein in Rebif 44mcg Injection is identical to the one naturally found in humans. This medication is utilized to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune condition impacting the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord).
It is not recommended to use Rebif 44mcg injection in children and adolescents due to limited data on its effectiveness and safety in this age group, especially in children below ten years old. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the Rebif 44mcg injection or any of its ingredients, have severe depression, suicidal thoughts, uncontrolled epilepsy, serious kidney or liver problems, low white blood cell or platelet count, heart problems, or irritation at the injection site. Report any mood changes, suicidal thoughts, or worsening of existing conditions to your doctor. Transparent communication with your doctor about your medical history and medications is crucial for the safe use of Rebif 44mcg Injection.

Tysabri 300mg injection contains an active component such as Natalizumab. This medication is a monoclonal antibody medication used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS) and Crohn's disease. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease of the central nervous system, causing communication problems between the brain and the rest of the body.
Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory condition affecting the gastrointestinal tract. This medication-targeted mechanism of action reduces inflammation by blocking specific immune cell movement, thereby mitigating potential damage to the central nervous system in MS or reducing inflammation in the gut in Crohn's disease.
By effectively managing disease activity, Tysabri 300mg injection can improve patients' overall quality of life by reducing symptoms, decreasing the frequency of relapses, and potentially delaying disability progression.
Tysabri 300mg injection can cause hypersensitivity reactions in some individuals. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to this medicine or its components should avoid its use, and individuals at higher risk need screening. This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) or who are positive for the JC virus, as they are at a higher risk of developing PML during treatment.
It should not be used in patients with active infections, especially serious or opportunistic infections. Its safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients (children and adolescents) have not been fully established. Therefore, its use in this population is generally not recommended.
